Problems Faced While Filming

The main problem I believe we faced while filming is managing time. As we had many filming days, in different locations which resulted in time taken on transport and travel, as well as we needed to get to the location before our actors to set up, which took even more time. Managing a big group of people so that they act the way we needed them to took time as we re filmed many times. To improve we should not waste our time chatting and hanging out as it is easy to get distracted when filming with a large cast.

Other specific problems we faced is with not having a tripod when filming, as schools does not have this piece of equipment, we often borrowed a tripod from a friend but this was not always possible. Therefore we were left to film without one making it hard to find the right stable composition and resulted in handheld footage being shaking, however after stabilising the clip on iMovie, it reduced some of the shakiness.

We had been using the same SD card for our whole shoot, and did not wipe it after each shoot so became full quickly without us knowing, so half way through a shooting day I had to run home to get an extra SD card and batteries. This was only a small set back but would of been more efficent to have spares on hand on the day.
